About The Position

This position is responsible for farm/barn maintenance, including general troubleshooting, repairs, welding, and preventative maintenance for all area farms. The role requires good mechanical aptitude, good attendance, and the ability to work well with others or alone. Overtime may be required.

Requirements

• Background in repairing farm equipment, carpentry, and/or electrical work
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Above average reading and writing skills
• Able to lift 50 lbs
• Work in a cold, wet, humid, hot and/or dusty environment
• Work with heights in confined spaces
• Must be able to pass a lung function test to be certified to wear a self-contained breathing apparatus or gas mask which requires no facial hair in areas where the face mask seals against the face
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer
• Applicants must not now, or at any time in the future, require employer sponsorship for a work visa
