About The Position

The Farm Laborer role at King Ranch, Inc. involves a variety of agricultural tasks. Key responsibilities include preparing soil and growth mediums, managing irrigation equipment, planting, harvesting, and packaging crops. The laborer will also be responsible for loading and unloading trucks and operating various farm and motor equipment as needed. In periods where primary farm work is not available, the position may include other general agricultural duties such as building and equipment maintenance and fence repair. Requirements

• The ability to understand and carry out oral instructions.
• The ability to learn to use and/or operate light motor equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare soil and growth medium.
• Fill tanks with water and handle irrigation equipment.
• Plant crops
• Harvest and package crop
• Load and unload trucks.
• Operate farm equipment and other motor equipment when necessary.
• When work is not available, workers may be offered other general agricultural duties, including building and equipment maintenance, repairing fences, and similar tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.
