About The Position
West Central Equipment, the John Deere agriculture and mowing equipment dealer in Martinsburg, PA is seeking 2 Farm Equipment Technicians. Requirements
- 2 years experience as a mechanic or technician, working on farm tractors
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems of tractors or construction equipment
- Ability to use computer-based technical manuals and other software programs
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Standard personal toolbox required
- Must be willing to download company apps on your personal phone
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on John Deere and other brands of agriculture and mowing equipment
- Perform setup and pre-delivery preparation of new equipment
- Maintain current knowledge of John Deere products and competitive products
- Maintain a clean work area and perform work in a neat and orderly fashion
- Complete reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignment
