Barton Farm Mentorship
About The Position
The North Central Missouri College Barton Farm Campus is seeking two Farm Assistants for the Barton Farm Mentorship. The focus of the job is to assist in maintaining the farm campus. Duties will include, but not limited to, tractor/equipment operation, seeding, landscaping/watering of ornamental plants, shrubs and trees. Assist in planting, maintaining and harvesting of educational crop plots and Greenhouse operations. Assist in the care and management of all types of livestock. Assist in fence building, basic shop work and overall maintenance/mowing the grounds of the Barton Farm Campus. Equipment operation can range from tractor/implements, skid loader, ATV, lawn mower, tiller, etc. The Barton Farm Mentorship/Assistant is a part-time position for approximately 20 hours per week. Funding for the mentorship is provided from the estate of the Jack Young Family.
