About The Position

Monte Nido Clementine Calabasas is a residential treatment program exclusively serving adolescents seeking treatment for Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, or Exercise Addiction. The program supports adolescents and their families on the path to recovery by helping adolescents build healthy skills and navigate life free from the eating disorder, while engaging families as partners in recovery through empathy, education, and support. The full-time Family Therapist joins a multidisciplinary treatment team. The position provides family and group therapy, caregiver coaching, meal support, and ongoing care management. The therapist may also be required to support virtual patient care and telehealth services as needed, including during periods of low census or to address coverage needs. The role is based in Calabasas, California, and requires openness to either a Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday schedule, with daytime hours and one potential late start per week.

Requirements

Master’s degree, at minimum, in clinical counseling or a related discipline.
Knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion practices.

Nice To Haves

Licensed or license-eligible in a counseling field, such as Psychologist, LMFT, or LCSW.
Prior experience treating people with eating disorders in a residential or inpatient setting.

Responsibilities

Provide weekly family therapy and caregiver coaching calls.
Facilitate group therapy for clients and families.
Provide meal support with clients.
Participate in ongoing care management.
Provide safe, empathetic, and affirming care tailored to each client’s unique circumstances and intersecting identities.
Support virtual patient care and telehealth services as needed, including during periods of low census or to address coverage needs.
