Family Support Worker
About The Position

The Family Support Worker is responsible for organizing and facilitating educational and support groups for youth and parents, providing community outreach, and assisting people to access community resources. Must be able to work with diverse populations, network and build relationships, and work effectively as a team member. Knowledge of parenting skills and child development, strong organizational and communication skills a must. Experience working with individuals and families and familiarity with community resources required. Must be able to utilize computer-based information systems and maintain accurate records. Some Saturdays and evenings required.
