The Family Support Social Worker is responsible for providing comprehensive, trauma informed support to children and families addressing immediate crises, strengthening family functioning, and promoting long-term stability. This position partners closely with Family Coaches to assess family needs, develop individualized stabilization plans, coordinate community resources, administer grant-required assessments, facilitate parenting education, and oversee financial assistance services. Through crisis intervention, resource navigation, advocacy, and evidence-based practices, the Family Support Social Worker empowers families to overcome barriers, build resilience, and achieve greater self-sufficiency while ensuring compliance with program and grant outcomes.
