The specialist will monitor and address child attendance, collaborate with families to develop Family Service Plans, and coordinate community referrals to maximize resources. This position requires completing initial training and ongoing professional development, ensuring 100% enrollment and compliance with standards, and maintaining regular contact with families through meetings and home visits. Additionally, the role involves ensuring child records are complete and up-to-date, preparing and submitting required reports, and coordinating with teachers and other resources for parent family and community engagement (PFCE) strategies. The Family Specialist will also identify and promote opportunities for parents to participate in skills development and community events, and support the development of assessments, grant applications, and reports. Other job duties as assigned are also part of the responsibilities.
