This position is primarily an in-office position, but with CDL bus-driving duties for Mobile Offices as the need arises. Mobile Office buses are used to respond to natural disasters and for occasional special events statewide. The role involves greeting clients professionally and kindly in an OKDHS retail space and on the bus, assessing client needs and determining eligibility for Adult and Family Services programs (including SNAP), interviewing clients in an office setting or via phone, managing a caseload, compiling data and completing documentation for social services eligibility, and making appropriate program referrals to community resources. The position also requires participation in individual and staff conferences and attendance at all mandatory training.
