Family Service Worker
About The Position
Arkansas Early Learning (AEL) is seeking a Family Service Worker to support parents in achieving their goals, foster child development within family and cultural contexts, and advocate for supportive communities for children and families of all cultures. This is an entry-level case management role that also involves assisting families with enrollment into the Early Head Start/Head Start program. AEL is dedicated to serving vulnerable children aged birth to five and their families across Arkansas, providing transformational learning programs and essential child and family support services in a nurturing environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must have a working telephone or cell phone.
- Must have a valid driver's license with a minimum of liability insurance.
- General knowledge of computers and computer programs such as Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, Adobe etc.
- Within eighteen months of hire, must obtain a credential or certification in social work, human services, family services, counseling or a related field (training provided by Arkansas Early Learning).
Nice To Haves
- Bachelors or Associate degree in social services or a related field with two years experience preferred.
