About The Position

We are seeking a full-time Family Service Counselor in Darien, IL to provide caring assistance to families in need and provide thoughtful guidance to those in advance of need. Once the training period is complete, compensation is commission based. During the training period, compensation is $20.00 per hour. Must be willing to work on Saturday in exchange for a day off during the week. Expected compensation for the first year is between $65,000-$95,000. We use technology to support administrative and operational efficiency. All hiring decisions are made by our management team.

Responsibilities

Make sales presentations and sell funeral services and products
Prospect and obtain referrals
Answer customers questions about products, prices and availability
Contact new or existing customers to discuss how specific products or services can meet their needs
Complete paperwork neatly and accurately, including all interment verification procedures
Answer telephone inquiries about cemetery products and services for both pre-need planning and at need preparations
Make appointments for families to come to the cemetery for arrangements
