About The Position

Catholic Funeral & Cemetery Services (CFCS) is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and relationship-driven Family Service Advisor to join our team in Hayward, CA. In this role, you will guide families through pre-need and at-need cemetery and funeral planning, helping them make informed and meaningful decisions for themselves or their loved ones. This is an opportunity to combine consultative sales, service, and personal purpose within an organization grounded in faith, compassion, and community.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of performance-based sales experience required
  • Prospecting and lead generation experience required
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Highly organized and self-motivated
  • Passion for helping people through important life decisions
  • Comfort working in a mission-driven, Catholic environment (all faith backgrounds are welcome to apply)
  • Driven to succeed and willing to put in the work to build your business

Responsibilities

  • Meet with families to discuss pre-need and at-need funeral and cemetery planning options
  • Use a consultative sales approach to understand family needs and recommend meaningful solutions
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline through prospecting and community outreach
  • Follow up with families and provide exceptional, personalized service
  • Manage your own success while working alongside a supportive and mission-driven team
