About The Position

The Family Resource Specialist provides Service Coordination and/or Developmental Services to infants and toddlers participating in Early Intervention services through Part C of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). This role involves planning, implementing, and coordinating services provided to children and their families throughout their participation in the program. Additionally, the specialist will participate in and support activities of the Infant & Toddler Connection of the New River Valley to build collaborative relationships and strengthen services available to families.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, special education, or a related field is required.
