About The Position

The licensed Family Well-Being Counselor provides trauma-informed mental health services, leads bilingual workshops, delivers coaching, and supports community wellness initiatives to strengthen family resilience. This role involves providing counseling and coaching services, tracking outcomes, maintaining documentation, and developing curriculum.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or other related field from a four-year college or university, required.
  • Licensure required (those close to completion may be considered)
  • 2-3 years' experience providing 1:1 mental health services to parents & young children
  • Experience creating and delivering trauma-informed care trainings to families

Nice To Haves

  • ECE teaching experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide trauma-informed counseling and coaching services
  • Track outcomes and maintain documentation
  • Deliver at least 120 one-on-one coaching sessions annually
  • Facilitate at least 12 bilingual workshops reaching 360 participants
  • Develop trauma-informed curriculum and materials
  • Provide mental health consultation to Pathways LA direct service childcare program
