About The Position
Are you passionate about helping families thrive and stay together? Children’s Friend is looking for a Family Preservation Worker to join our dedicated team working with at-risk families to promote safety, stability, and well-being.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required, Masters, preferred in Social Work.
- Experience with at-risk families, mental health, and service coordination.
- Strong time management, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours and participate in trainings.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and insurance required
- Comfortable working with databases and Microsoft Office tools
Nice To Haves
- Masters in Social Work preferred
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth assessments of referred families
- Develop and implement collaborative family service plans
- Provide home-based services including parent training and family counseling
- Link families to mental health, school, and community-based supports
- Maintain detailed client records and documentation
- Coordinate case conferences and follow through to service termination
- Implement the plan through the provision of home-based services, including individual and family counseling, parent training, and linkage with schools and community agencies in collaboration with Family Preservation team.
