As a Family Preservation Worker, you’ll provide hands-on, culturally responsive support that empowers families to build stability, strengthen relationships, and thrive together. Join a team dedicated to keeping families connected, helping them grow stronger, and creating lasting change. Reporting to the Program Manager, the Family Preservation Worker supports families through intake, case management, and goal setting while maintaining an active caseload. The role focuses on building positive relationships with parents, providing crisis intervention, and applying evidence-based, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive approaches to enhance family stability, problem-solving, and parenting skills. Key responsibilities include facilitating supportive visitation, delivering life skills training and psychoeducation, coordinating with MCFD social workers and community partners, and participating in integrated case management meetings. The position also requires maintaining accurate documentation, preparing timely progress reports, and representing the organization with professionalism in the community.
