About The Position

We are seeking a Family Practice Physician to provide comprehensive primary care to active-duty service members, their families, and other eligible beneficiaries at NBHC Meridian, MS. As Primary Care Manager for a panel of approximately 1,000–1,300 TRICARE Prime enrollees, you'll deliver full-scope care in a collaborative military treatment facility — with no after-hours on-call.

Requirements

MD or DO from a medical school accredited by the LCME, COCA, or equivalent (ECFMG certification required for foreign-trained physicians).
Completed an accredited Family Medicine residency; Board Certified or Board Eligible (ABFM or AOBFP).
Active, unrestricted state medical license; current hands-on BLS/ACLS (AHA or ARC); valid DEA registration.
Clinical experience within the past 2 years demonstrating current competency.
U.S. Citizen, required for CAC eligibility (Tier 1 background investigation).

Responsibilities

Examine, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages for acute, chronic, and preventive care needs; perform minor procedures and prescribe medications.
Conduct wellness exams, immunizations, and required military physicals (PHAs, deployment and separation exams).
Perform occupational medicine exams, including fitness-for-duty and return-to-work evaluations.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests; generate referrals and consultations when clinically indicated.
Maintain accurate documentation in MHS GENESIS (DoD Electronic Health Record).
Collaborate with and provide clinical guidance to corpsmen, nursing staff, and the broader MTF care team.
