About The Position

My Health Onsite (MHO) is a leading provider in Florida with 23 employer-sponsored healthcare centers serving schools, city and county governments, sheriff's offices, and fire departments. MHO's goal is to offer proactive, personalized, and engaging healthcare for employees, retirees, and their families at no cost to them, covering everything from wellness programs to preventive care. As a Family Practice Provider at MHO, you will be responsible for meeting, assessing, and diagnosing patients in the health center. You will also prescribe appropriate medication, health regimens, and lifestyle adjustments to contribute to patient recovery, prevent future health issues, and promote a healthier lifestyle. MHO maintains manageable caseloads of 12-17 patients per day with no double bookings, allowing providers to focus on each individual.

Requirements

Graduation from an accredited medical school
Board Eligible
Current and unrestricted Florida medical license
Dispensing license (Florida) or willing to obtain one prior to start date if hired
DEA license
BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers
DOT certified (willing to obtain upon hire)

Nice To Haves

Experience in primary or urgent care setting
Perform GYN care and well women exams

Responsibilities

Provide preventive, acute, and chronic care to patients
Provide health services such as initial worker’s comp evaluation, occupational and pre-employment physicals and screenings
Conduct histories and physical examinations, working with patients to develop treatment plans
Prescribe and dispense medications, educate, and advise on medical issues as needed
Promote wellness educational programs
Maintain patient confidence and ensure confidentiality of patient care information
