Family Practice Clinic LPN Medical Assistant
About The Position
CHI Health, now part of CommonSpirit Health, includes over 150 clinics delivering quality care to patients across Nebraska and southeast Iowa. Our full-service network provides a variety of Primary Care & Priority Care Services, including Family, Internal, Geriatric, and Pediatric Medicine, in addition to several specialties. This position will support our healthcare teams by ensuring they have everything they need to care for our patients. They also play a huge role in a patient’s experience and prep when they visit any of our clinics. If you have a passion for supporting others and enhancing patient experience, we want to talk to you.
Requirements
- Current LPN license that allows you to practice in our state
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program, or Medical Assistant program (LPN or CMA)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) with American Heart Association is required
- Will Consider LPN CMA
Responsibilities
- Checks schedules and organizes patient flow.
- Accompanies patients to the exam room and updates electronic medical.
- Prepares patients for exams/procedures.
- Assists/performs medication administration, dressings and collecting of lab specimens as instructed.
- Relays information regarding follow-up care and return visit to patients and families.
- Schedules tests and procedures as directed.
