About The Position
Fraser Health Authority (FHA) and the Department of Addiction Medicine and Substance Use Services have opportunities for physicians to join their team. Several opportunities throughout the region are available as a result of Fraser Health’s rapidly expanding addiction services. The team is described as close knit, collaborative, and friendly, genuinely enjoying the work they do. There are several opportunities to join the team with varying time commitments including full time, part time, and occasional. The current opportunity is for the Fraser North Rapid Access to Addiction Care Clinic (RAAC) and is for Locum/Casual coverage.
Requirements
- Active licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC).
- CCFP, CMPA, CPSBC Full
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience providing addiction medicine services is an asset.
- ISAM or ABAM certification is beneficial but not required.
- CCFP(AM) is beneficial but not required.

- Providing low-barrier and equitable access to evidence-based and evidence-informed addiction medicine services.
