The position requires travel throughout the region, and candidates may reside anywhere within the covered counties. Boys & Girls Aid is seeking a full-time Family Permanency Specialist to join our team. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field plus 5 years of experience in social work, counseling, or psychology, OR Equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Use individualized recruitment strategies to find permanent families for children in foster care.
  • Partner with Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS) to review case records and identify potential family connections.
  • Build relationships with children and collaborate with ODHS caseworkers to prepare for adoption.
  • Develop recruitment plans tailored to each child's background and needs.
  • Maintain confidentiality and manage multiple priorities effectively.
