About The Position

MainStreet Family Care is hiring a floating Family Nurse Practitioner to work across multiple clinics in the Raleigh, North Carolina region. The FNP provides patient-focused care in a fast-paced, high-volume urgent care environment and may also support primary medical care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine. The role requires flexibility to work with teams at different clinics and provide leadership in that setting. Shifts are determined two months in advance. MainStreet clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. KidsStreet clinic hours at the listed locations are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Work hours may change based on company needs, training, and floater assignments.

Requirements

Family Nurse Practitioner board certification.
MSN or higher education.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Flexibility to work with teams in different clinics and provide leadership in a high-volume, fast-paced urgent care environment.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with EMR systems.
Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

Provide patient-focused urgent care, primary medical care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine.
Perform minor procedures, including toenail and foreign-object removal.
Suture wounds and apply splints.
Evaluate and manage general orthopedic conditions.
Review x-rays for radiologist over-read.
Assess and treat general dermatological and eye problems.
Interpret general EKGs.
Provide emergency management.
Provide general gynecological care.
Treat children of all ages.
