About The Position

MainStreet Family Care is seeking PRN Family Nurse Practitioners to work across multiple clinics in the Burlington, North Carolina region. This role is suited to providers who enjoy variety, work well in a high-volume environment, and are flexible about working with different teams and clinics. New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Providers deliver urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine services to patients of all ages. The work includes minor procedures, orthopedic evaluations, imaging review, and emergency management. Shifts are determined approximately two months in advance. Clinic hours and schedules may change based on company needs, training, and float coverage.

Requirements

• Family Nurse Practitioner board certification.
• MSN or higher degree.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• EMR experience.
• Microsoft Office experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine services.
• Perform minor procedures, including toenail removals and foreign body removals.
• Perform suturing and splinting.
• Conduct general orthopedic evaluations and management.
• Review X-rays, with Radiologist over-read.
• Interpret EKGs.
• Address general dermatology, eye complaints, and gynecological care.
• Treat patients of all ages.
• Use emergency management skills in a fast-paced setting.
• Work across multiple clinics and with different teams as scheduled.
