About The Position

MainStreet Family Care is hiring a PRN Family Nurse Practitioner to work across multiple clinics in the Cameron, North Carolina region. The role is suited to providers who enjoy variety, can work in a high-volume environment, and are flexible about working with different teams and clinics. New graduates are encouraged to apply.

The position provides urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine services to patients of all ages. Shifts are determined approximately two months in advance. MainStreet clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. At select locations, KidsStreet clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Hours may change based on company needs, training, and float coverage.

Requirements

• Family Nurse Practitioner board certification is required.
• An MSN or higher degree is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine.
• Perform minor procedures, including toenail and foreign body removals.
• Perform suturing and splinting.
• Conduct general orthopedic evaluations and management.
• Review X-rays with Radiologist over-read.
• Interpret EKGs.
• Provide general dermatology, eye complaint, and gynecological care.
• Treat patients of all ages.
• Use emergency management skills in a fast-paced setting.
• Work across multiple clinics and with different teams as needed.
