About The Position

MainStreet Family Care is seeking PRN Family Nurse Practitioners to work across multiple clinics in the Charlotte, North Carolina region. This role is suited to providers who enjoy variety, work well in a high-volume environment, and can adapt to different teams and clinic locations. New graduates are encouraged to apply. Providers care for patients of all ages in urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine settings. Shifts are determined approximately two months in advance. Clinic hours may change based on company needs, training, and float coverage.

Requirements

• Family Nurse Practitioner board certification.
• MSN or higher.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• EMR experience.
• Microsoft Office experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine services.
• Perform minor procedures, including toenail and foreign body removals.
• Perform suturing and splinting.
• Evaluate and manage general orthopedic conditions.
• Review X-rays, which receive a Radiologist over-read.
• Interpret EKGs.
• Treat general dermatology concerns, eye complaints, and GYN conditions.
• Care for patients of all ages.
• Use emergency management skills in a fast-paced setting.
• Work across multiple clinics and teams in the region.
