About The Position

MainStreet Family Care is hiring PRN Family Nurse Practitioners to work across multiple clinics in the Swansboro, North Carolina region. This role is suited to providers who enjoy variety, work well in a high-volume environment, and are flexible about working with different teams and clinics. New graduates are encouraged to apply. Shifts are determined approximately two months in advance. Clinic hours may change based on company needs, training, and float coverage.

Requirements

• Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner is required.
• An MSN or higher is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• EMR experience.
• Microsoft Office experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine services.
• Perform minor procedures, including toenail removals and foreign body removals.
• Perform suturing and splinting.
• Conduct general orthopedic evaluations and management.
• Review X-rays, with Radiologist over-read.
• Interpret EKGs.
• Provide general dermatology care and treat eye complaints and gynecological concerns.
• Treat patients of all ages.
• Use emergency management skills in a fast-paced setting.
