About The Position

CentralCare Incorporated is seeking a highly qualified Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide comprehensive clinical and administrative healthcare services in support of military readiness operations at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JBNJ). This is a full-time position supporting the Base Operational Medical Clinic (BOMC), delivering care in accordance with Department of Defense (DoD) and Air Force medical policies.

Requirements

Master's Degree in Nursing from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (ANCC, AANP, or equivalent)
Current, full, active, unrestricted NP license
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Minimum of 2 years of Nurse Practitioner experience
Proficiency with electronic medical records systems

Nice To Haves

Military or federal healthcare experience
Experience conducting health readiness assessments
Familiarity with MHS Genesis

Responsibilities

Conduct Periodic Health Assessments (PHA), Mental Health Assessments (MHA), Deployment-Related Health Assessments (DRHA 1-5), and Separation History & Physical Exams (SHPE)
Provide a full range of Nurse Practitioner services for routine, acute, and chronic conditions
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations
Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests
Prescribe and dispense medications within approved guidelines
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Promote preventive care, annual physicals, and patient education
Maintain accurate electronic documentation in MHS Genesis and ASIMS
Recognize and respond appropriately to emergency situations
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and medical readiness activities
Ensure compliance with DoD, Air Force, and medical facility policies and standards
