About The Position

MainStreet Family Care is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to provide patient-focused care across multiple clinics in East North Carolina, including Wilmington, Swansboro, Havelock, and Kinston. The role involves working in a high-volume, fast-paced urgent care environment, offering services such as urgent care, primary medical care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine. The ideal candidate will be flexible and able to provide leadership.

Requirements

• Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification required
• MSN, or higher education required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working in EMR and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.) preferred

Responsibilities

• Minor surgery (toenail removal, foreign object removal, etc.)
• Suturing
• Splinting
• General Orthopedic evaluations/management
• Review of x-rays (to be over-read by Radiologist, too)
• General Dermatology
• General eye problems
• General EKG interpretations
• Emergency management skills
• General GYN expertise
• Treating children of all ages
• Occupational medicine
• Telemedicine
