About The Position

MainStreet Family Care is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to provide patient-focused care in their clinics within 90 miles of South Central Alabama. The role involves working in a high-volume, fast-paced urgent care environment, requiring flexibility to work with teams in different clinics and provide leadership. Services offered include urgent care, primary medical care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine.

Requirements

• COVID vaccination is required as a condition of employment
• Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification required
• MSN, or higher education required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working in EMR and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Minor surgery (toenail removal, foreign object removal, etc.)
• Suturing
• Splinting
• General Orthopedic evaluations/management
• Review of x-rays (to be over-read by Radiologist, too)
• General Dermatology
• General eye problems
• General EKG interpretations
• Emergency management skills
• General GYN expertise
• Treating children of all ages
• Occupational medicine
• Telemedicine
