About The Position

MainStreet Family Care is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to provide patient-focused care across multiple clinics in the East Alabama and West Georgia region. The role involves working in a high-volume, fast-paced urgent care environment, offering services such as urgent care, primary medical care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine. The ideal candidate will be flexible, able to work with different clinic teams, and provide leadership.

Requirements

• Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification required
• MSN, or higher education required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working in EMR and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.) preferred

Responsibilities

• Minor surgery (toenail removal, foreign object removal, etc.)
• Suturing
• Splinting
• General Orthopedic evaluations/management
• Review of x-rays (to be over-read by Radiologist, too)
• General Dermatology
• General eye problems
• General EKG interpretations
• Emergency management skills
• General GYN expertise
• Treating children of all ages
• Occupational medicine
• Telemedicine
