Requirements
- State Medical License
- Controlled Substance Registration
- Federal DEA Registration
- Certification as an Advanced Practitioner
- PALS and ACLS Certification
- Candidates must possess a strong background in performing routine procedures, such as laceration repair, incision and drainage, foreign body removal, and treatment of orthopedic-related conditions.
- Relevant professional experience required; this position is best suited for candidates with prior experience in the field.
Nice To Haves
- A minimum of 1 year of full-time experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients across all age groups in a fast-paced urgent care setting.
- Perform common urgent care procedures including laceration repair, incision and drainage, wound management, splinting, and foreign body removal.
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practitioners, nursing teams, and specialists to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
