About The Position

MainStreet Family Care is seeking PRN Family Nurse Practitioners to work across multiple clinics in the Erwin, North Carolina region. The role is suited to providers who enjoy variety, work well in a high-volume environment, and are flexible about working with different teams and clinics. New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Providers deliver urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine services to patients of all ages. Shifts are determined approximately two months in advance. Clinic hours are listed as Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. At select KidsStreet locations, weekend hours are 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Hours may change based on company needs, training, and float coverage.

Requirements

• Family Nurse Practitioner board certification.
• MSN or higher.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Microsoft Office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine services.
• Perform minor procedures, including toenail and foreign body removals.
• Suture and splint patients.
• Perform general orthopedic evaluations and management.
• Review X-rays, with Radiologist over-read.
• Interpret EKGs.
• Provide general dermatology care, evaluate eye complaints, and provide GYN care.
• Treat patients of all ages.
• Use emergency management skills in a fast-paced setting.
• Work across multiple clinics and with different teams as needed.
