About The Position

MainStreet Family Care is hiring PRN Family Nurse Practitioners to work across multiple clinics in the Havelock, North Carolina region. The role is suited to providers who enjoy variety, a high-volume environment, and working with different teams and clinics. New graduates are encouraged to apply. Providers care for patients of all ages in urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine settings. Shifts are determined approximately two months in advance. MainStreet clinics are generally open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. At select locations, KidsStreet clinics are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Hours may change based on company needs, training, and float coverage. Compensation includes competitive hourly pay and bonus incentives. Benefits and support include malpractice insurance, an annual $750 CME allowance, an UpToDate subscription, mileage reimbursement, and paid orientation and training. Standard pre-employment background checks and drug screens are performed.

Requirements

Family Nurse Practitioner board certification.
MSN or higher.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

EMR experience.
Microsoft Office experience.

Responsibilities

Provide urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine services.
Perform minor procedures, including toenail removals and foreign body removals.
Perform suturing and splinting.
Conduct general orthopedic evaluations and management.
Review X-rays, with Radiologist over-read.
Interpret EKGs.
Provide general dermatology care, evaluate eye complaints, and provide GYN care.
Treat patients of all ages.
Use emergency management skills in a fast-paced setting.
Work across multiple clinics and with different teams.
