About The Position

MainStreet Family Care is seeking PRN Family Nurse Practitioners to work across multiple clinics in the Oxford, North Carolina region. The role suits providers who enjoy variety, a high-volume environment, and working with different teams and clinics. New graduates are encouraged to apply. Providers care for patients of all ages across urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine settings.

Shifts are determined approximately two months in advance. MainStreet clinics are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Select KidsStreet locations are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Hours may change based on company needs, training, and float coverage.

Requirements

• Family Nurse Practitioner board certification.
• MSN or higher.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• EMR experience.
• Microsoft Office experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine services.
• Perform minor procedures, including toenail and foreign body removals.
• Provide suturing and splinting.
• Conduct general orthopedic evaluations and management.
• Review X-rays, with Radiologist over-read.
• Interpret EKGs.
• Treat general dermatology concerns, eye complaints, and GYN needs.
• Treat patients of all ages.
• Use emergency management skills in a fast-paced setting.
