About The Position

MainStreet Family Care is seeking PRN Family Nurse Practitioners to work across multiple clinics in the Cherryville, North Carolina region. This role is suited to clinicians who enjoy variety, work well in a high-volume environment, and are flexible about working with different teams and clinics. New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Providers deliver urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine services to patients of all ages. Clinic shifts are determined approximately two months in advance. MainStreet Clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. KidsStreet Clinic hours at select locations are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Hours may change based on company needs, training, and float coverage.

Requirements

• Family Nurse Practitioner board certification.
• MSN or higher degree.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Microsoft Office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine services.
• Perform minor procedures, including toenail and foreign body removals.
• Provide suturing and splinting.
• Perform general orthopedic evaluations and management.
• Review X-rays, which receive a Radiologist over-read.
• Interpret EKGs.
• Treat general dermatology, eye complaints, and gynecological concerns.
• Treat patients of all ages.
• Use emergency management skills in a fast-paced setting.
• Work across multiple clinics and with different teams as needed.
