About The Position

MainStreet Family Care is seeking PRN Family Nurse Practitioners to work across multiple clinics in the Clayton, North Carolina region. The role suits providers who enjoy variety, thrive in a high-volume environment, and can work flexibly with different teams and clinics. New graduates are encouraged to apply. Providers care for patients of all ages across urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine settings. Shifts are determined approximately two months in advance. MainStreet clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. At select locations, KidsStreet clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Hours may change based on company needs, training, or float coverage.

Requirements

• Family Nurse Practitioner board certification is required.
• An MSN or higher is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• EMR experience preferred.
• Microsoft Office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine services.
• Perform minor procedures, including toenail and foreign body removals.
• Perform suturing and splinting.
• Conduct general orthopedic evaluations and management.
• Review X-rays, which receive a Radiologist over-read.
• Interpret EKGs.
• Address general dermatology concerns, eye complaints, and GYN care.
• Treat patients of all ages.
• Use emergency management skills in a fast-paced setting.
