About The Position

MainStreet Family Care is seeking a PRN Family Nurse Practitioner to work across multiple clinics in the Kinston, North Carolina region. The role involves caring for patients in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and working flexibly with different clinic teams. New graduates are encouraged to apply. Clinical services include urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine, as well as minor procedures and emergency management. Shifts are determined approximately two months in advance. MainStreet Clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. At select locations, KidsStreet Clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Hours may change based on company needs, training, and float coverage. Standard pre-employment background checks and drug screens are performed.

Requirements

Family Nurse Practitioner board certification.
MSN or higher.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Microsoft Office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine services.
Perform minor procedures, including toenail and foreign body removals.
Perform suturing and splinting.
Conduct general orthopedic evaluations and management.
Review X-rays with Radiologist over-read.
Interpret EKGs.
Provide general dermatology care, evaluate eye complaints, and provide GYN care.
Treat patients of all ages.
Use emergency management skills in a fast-paced setting.
Work across multiple clinics and with different teams.
