About The Position

MainStreet Family Care is hiring a Floating Family Nurse Practitioner to work across multiple clinics in the Raleigh region. The FNP provides patient-focused care in a high-volume, fast-paced urgent care environment and may also provide primary medical care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine. The role requires flexibility to work with teams at different clinics and provide clinical leadership. Shifts are determined two months in advance, and work hours may change based on company needs, training, and floater assignments. MainStreet clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. KidsStreet clinic hours at the listed locations are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Requirements

Family Nurse Practitioner board certification is required.
An MSN or higher education is required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Flexibility to work with teams in different clinics and in a high-volume, fast-paced urgent care environment.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with EMR systems.
Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

Provide urgent care, primary medical care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine.
Perform minor procedures, including toenail removal and foreign object removal.
Perform suturing and splinting.
Conduct general orthopedic evaluations and management.
Review x-rays for radiologist over-reading.
Manage general dermatology and eye problems.
Interpret general EKGs.
Provide emergency management.
Provide general gynecological care.
Treat children of all ages.
