The Family Nurse Practitioner (PRN) role is responsible for patient care within their scope of practice in a clinical setting. This position requires associates to work from the posted location, enabling consistent face-to-face collaboration, teamwork, and direct engagement. The policy promotes an environment built on in-person interaction, communication, and immediate support. Candidates not within a reasonable commuting distance from the posting location(s) will not be considered for employment, unless an accommodation is granted as required by law. The Family Nurse Practitioner administers ordered therapies, completes the admission process, performs physical assessments, documents patient data, and reports significant changes to the Center Director. They communicate effectively with the IV team, maintain patient confidentiality, evaluate patient response to therapy, and educate patients and/or family members. Participation in the Quality Improvement program and ensuring medication orders are complete, appropriate, accurate, and up-to-date are also key responsibilities. This role may provide clinical coverage for nurse practitioners on PTO/LOA and support new market launches, potentially requiring extensive travel.
