About The Position
MainStreet Family Care is seeking PRN Family Nurse Practitioners (FNPs) to work across multiple clinics in the Wake Forest, NC region. This role is ideal for individuals looking for supplemental income, wanting to keep their skills sharp, or those who enjoy variety and thrive in a high-volume environment. Requirements
- Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification required
- MSN or higher required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Nice To Haves
- EMR and Microsoft Office experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine
- Minor procedures including toenail removals and foreign body removals
- Suturing and splinting
- General orthopedic evaluations and management
- X-ray review (with Radiologist over-read)
- EKG interpretation
- General dermatology, eye complaints, and GYN care
- Treating patients of all ages
- Emergency management skills in a fast-paced setting
