About The Position
MainStreet Family Care is seeking a PRN Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to work across multiple clinics in the East NC Region. The role focuses on providing patient-focused care in urgent care, primary medical care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine settings. The ideal candidate will be flexible, able to work with teams in different clinics, and provide leadership in a high-volume, fast-paced urgent care environment, aiming to help patients feel better FAST.
Requirements
- Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification required
- MSN, or higher education required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working in EMR and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.) preferred
Responsibilities
- Minor surgery (toenail removal, foreign object removal, etc.)
- Suturing
- Splinting
- General Orthopedic evaluations/management
- Review of x-rays (to be over-read by Radiologist, too)
- General Dermatology
- General eye problems
- General EKG interpretations
- Emergency management skills
- General GYN expertise
- Treating children of all ages
- Occupational medicine
- Telemedicine
