The Family Nurse Practitioner (PRN) is responsible for patient care within his/her scope of practice in the clinical setting. This role requires associates to work from the posted location, enabling consistent face-to-face collaboration, teamwork, and direct engagement. This policy promotes an environment built on in-person interaction, communication, and immediate support. The Family Nurse Practitioner administers ordered therapies, completes the admission process, performs physical assessments, documents patient data, and reports significant changes to the Center Director. They also communicate effectively with the IV team, maintain patient confidentiality, evaluate patient response to therapy, and educate patients and/or family members. Participation in the Quality Improvement program and ensuring medication orders are complete, appropriate, accurate, and up-to-date are also key responsibilities. This role may provide clinical coverage for other nurse practitioners and support new market launches, potentially requiring extensive travel.
