Requirements

  • Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nursing Program
  • Active RN and APRN (APNP) license in the State of Georgia
  • Active board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner
  • Active DEA license or ability to obtain prior to hire
  • CPR certification and advanced life support certifications as applicable (ACLS, PALS)

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive patient care including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and patient education in a clinic setting.
  • Manage acute and chronic health conditions, interpret diagnostic studies, and ensure safe and effective use of pharmacologic treatments.
  • Conduct outreach visits in the community, engaging underserved populations, and supporting individuals who may face barriers to accessing traditional healthcare services.
  • Participate in community events and mobile outreach efforts.
  • Build relationships that strengthen RCA's presence and impact in the community.
  • Manage general medical and surgical conditions based on clinical knowledge and best practices.
  • Ensure accurate, complete, and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
  • Provide day-to-day supervision of support staff related to patient care.
  • Serve as an advocate for patients and families navigating the healthcare system.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
