About The Position

MainStreet Family Care is hiring PRN Family Nurse Practitioners to work across multiple clinics in the Tarboro, North Carolina region. The role is suited to providers who enjoy variety, work well in a high-volume environment, and are flexible about working with different teams and clinics. New graduates are encouraged to apply. Providers deliver urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine services to patients of all ages. Work includes minor procedures, orthopedic evaluations and management, diagnostic interpretation, and care for dermatologic, eye, and gynecological complaints, as well as emergency management in a fast-paced setting. Shifts are determined approximately two months in advance. MainStreet clinic hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m., and Saturday–Sunday, 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. At select locations, KidsStreet clinic hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m., and Saturday–Sunday, 9:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m. Hours may change based on company needs, training, and float coverage. Requirements

Family Nurse Practitioner board certification is required.
An MSN or higher is required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Nice To Haves

EMR experience preferred.
Microsoft Office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine services.
Perform minor procedures, including toenail removals and foreign body removals.
Perform suturing and splinting.
Conduct general orthopedic evaluations and management.
Review X-rays, with Radiologist over-read.
Interpret EKGs.
Evaluate and treat general dermatology complaints, eye complaints, and gynecological concerns.
Treat patients of all ages.
Use emergency management skills in a fast-paced setting.
Work across multiple clinics and with different teams as needed.
