About The Position

MainStreet Family Care is hiring a floating Family Nurse Practitioner to work across multiple clinics in the Raleigh, North Carolina region. The FNP provides patient-focused care in a fast-paced, high-volume urgent care environment and may also provide primary medical care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine. The role requires flexibility to work with teams at different clinics and provide leadership in the clinical setting. Shifts are determined two months in advance. MainStreet clinics are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. KidsStreet clinics are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Work hours may change based on company needs, training, and floater coverage.

Requirements

Family Nurse Practitioner board certification.
MSN or higher education.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Flexibility to work with teams in different clinics.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with EMR systems.
Experience with the Microsoft Office suite, including Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

Provide urgent care, primary medical care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine services.
Perform minor procedures, including toenail and foreign-object removal.
Suture and apply splints.
Conduct general orthopedic evaluations and management.
Review x-rays, which are also over-read by a radiologist.
Evaluate and treat general dermatological and eye problems.
Interpret general EKGs.
Provide emergency management.
Provide general gynecological care.
Treat children of all ages.
Work across multiple clinics and collaborate with clinic teams.
Provide leadership in a high-volume, fast-paced urgent care environment.
