About The Position

Prairie Band Health Service is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide exceptional healthcare services at Taos Picuris Service Unit located in Taos, New Mexico 87571. This role involves conducting patient assessments, diagnosing conditions, developing treatment plans, and providing health education to patients, families, and the community. The Nurse Practitioner will also coordinate referrals, maintain medical documentation, order and interpret tests, prescribe medications, and support quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners
• Current, unrestricted state medical license from any of the 50 states or Puerto Rico
• 3 years of experience in diagnosis and treatment of a broad range of adult and pediatric conditions
• Current Basic Life Support or Advanced Cardiac Life Support
• DEA
• Maintain continuing education/ certification
• Must be a U.S. citizen living primarily within the United States
• Must be willing and able to complete and pass the federal security clearance process
