About The Position

Community Quick Care is a growing, independently owned primary care and urgent care practice serving La Vergne, Smyrna, Antioch, Murfreesboro, and the Greater Nashville area. We are looking for an experienced, compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care in a supportive, team-oriented environment. Requirements

  • Licensed Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Tennessee (or eligible for licensure)
  • DEA Registration (or ability to obtain)
  • Current BLS Certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to providing exceptional patient-centered care

Nice To Haves

  • Two or more years of experience in Primary Care, Family Medicine, Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, or Internal Medicine
  • Experience with electronic medical records
  • DOT Medical Examiner Certification (or willingness to obtain)

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive outpatient medical care including primary care and preventive medicine
  • Urgent care evaluation and treatment
  • Management of chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, COPD, asthma, and thyroid disorders
  • Annual wellness exams
  • Sports, school, employment, and DOT physicals
  • Women's and men's health services
  • Weight management programs
  • Minor office procedures including laceration repair, incision and drainage, and other in-office treatments
  • Ordering and interpreting laboratory and diagnostic tests
  • Prescribing medications and developing treatment plans
  • Educating patients on disease prevention and healthy lifestyles
  • Maintaining accurate and timely medical documentation
