About The Position
Seeking a Family Medicine Physician for a Locum Tenens position in Mexia, TX. This is an outpatient role with a need for supplemental coverage on an ongoing basis. The physician will handle clinical duties only, with 24-hour shifts from 8 am to 8 am. The patient volume is expected to be 28-32 patients per day, with support from 2 RNs. The facility has a total of 7 beds and is a Level IV trauma center. The EMR system used is EDIS. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered.
Requirements
- Active TX License
- BC/BE in Family Medicine
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- ATLS certification
- PALS certification
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical care in an outpatient family medicine setting.
- Manage patient volume of 28-32 patients per day.
- Work 24-hour shifts from 8 am to 8 am.
- Collaborate with support staff, including 2 RNs.
