About The Position
The Department of Family Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine Physician for a full-time, one-year appointment. This role involves a continuity care practice with a focus on population health management. Depending on the applicant's interest, there is an opportunity to engage in the full spectrum of family medicine, including obstetrics, pediatrics, preventive services for all age groups, acute care, and hospital service responsibilities. The position also includes participation in medical education (medical school and/or residency) and research.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine.
- Must have or be able to obtain a Minnesota Medical License.
Responsibilities
- Provide continuity care in a family medicine practice.
- Engage in population health management.
- Practice the full spectrum of family medicine, including obstetrics, pediatrics, and preventive services for all age groups (based on applicant interest).
- Provide acute care and hospital service responsibilities (based on applicant interest).
- Participate in medical education (medical school and/or residency).
- Participate in research.
