This role is for a Casual Employee (per diem, hourly clinician) working 8-23 patient care hours per week across one or more DFW clinic locations. The physician will see patients with a broad array of needs, conducting a mix of acute, chronic, and well visits, and will not be responsible for panel-building. The role involves treating patients in-office and conducting occasional telehealth visits, collaborating with in-office and virtual clinical teams, and utilizing clinical training for in-office procedures. The physician will also need to obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for virtual primary care in additional states.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of primary care experience required.
• Currently licensed or ability to obtain licensure in the state of Texas.
• The ability to build successful relationships with team members and communicate effectively both 1-on-1 and in groups.
• Can thrive in a fast-growing, mission driven organization focused on using data to improve patient outcomes.
• Board Certification in Family Medicine or MedPeds.
• A passion for human-centered primary care
• The ability to successfully communicate with and provide care to individuals of all backgrounds
• The ability to effectively use technology to deliver high quality care
• Clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care
• The desire to be an integral part of a team dedicated to changing healthcare delivery

Responsibilities

• Seeing patients with a broad array of patient needs; conducting a mix of acute, chronic, and well visits (not a panel-building role)
• Treating patients in-office as well as conducting occasional tele-health visits
• Ongoing collaboration with in-office teammates via daily huddles, as well as with virtual clinical teams
• Utilization of your specific clinical training and opportunities to perform in-office procedures
• Willing to obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for One Medical virtual primary care in additional states
